Events in Birmingham

The Birmingham NIA

There are many events going on in Birmingham throughout the year. There are lots of festivals, special markets and open air concerts. So why not come into Birmingham and enjoy the entertainment for yourself.

If you are organising or know of an event that you think we should promote, please send us an email via our contact form.

Birmingham NEC Arena
BritishOpenShowjumping.com
This leading showjumping event comes to Birmingham.

Ricky Gervais - Fame

18 - 19 April
NIA Academy
This is Ricky doing what he does best, talk about himself, and anything else that takes his fancy.

Maria Sharapova

The DFS Classic 2007 - Womens International Tennis

11th - 17th June 2007
The Priory Club, Edgbaston
DFSClassic.com
Tickets - +44 (0)870 909 3015

Always fancied going to watch the tennis at Wimbledon but haven't relished the idea of pitching a tent up in SW19 to queue for tickets, then the DFS Classic in Edgbaston may be a fantastic alternative. The DFS Classic is just two weeks before Wimbledon and as a consequence some of the games leading ladies, including Maria Sharapova (left), use the DFS Classic as an opportunity to get their grass game up to scratch.

Hi Sally,

You will see above that the canal boat parade is indeed on again this year, so you're kids need not worry. The event will be on the 10th December.
